Kenneth J. Raedeke

Dr. Raedeke is an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington, College of Forest Resources. As a wildlife expert, Ken is nationally recognized for his studies of the ecology of ungulates and other large mammals. With over thirty years of field experience, laboratory work and statistical analysis, Ken has published over 100 articles and reports on wildlife conservation and management and related land-use practices. He has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences, has organized regional symposiums on riparian wildlife and has developed a series of workshops on the interactions of forest management, fish, and wildlife, in addition to teaching wildlife classes at the University.

Ken also has research interests in the conservation of endangered species, with an emphasis on the costs and benefits of wildlife conservation in developing countries. He has worked in other countries, including, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Canada, and Kenya.
