Mr. Perkins is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Nevada. He has over 35 years of appraisal experience. He merged his practice with Stephen Johnson’s firm in 1994 to form Johnson-Perkins & Associates. Mr. Perkins served as chairman of the Nevada State Board of Equalization in 1999 and also served as president of the Nevada Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, having been appointed to both positions by then Gov. Bob Miller. In 1996, he served as president of the Sacramento Chapter of The Appraisal Institute. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in political science. His practice includes the appraisal of complex properties, appraisal review, litigation valuation and consulting.
