Nick started his career as a Tax Attorney with Touche Ross & Company (now Deloitte), a major international accounting and consulting firm. He did extensive individual, corporate, and estate tax planning for owners and key executives in start-up high-tech companies. Since joining the firm in 1987, his practice has emphasized individual, partnership and corporate taxation, estate planning, probate and business law and planning.

He is a Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning and Trust Law. He has worked extensively with emerging closely-held businesses in the Silicon Valley, dealing with matters ranging from choice of business form, compensation and capitalization to the intricacies of tax planning. He has extensive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, exchanges and leases. Nick limits his litigation to complex civil and criminal tax matters and probate and trust issues. Over the past ten years, he has tried and settled several cases saving taxpayers in excess of $10 million.
