Natural Lands

Natural Lands Trust is a nonprofit land conservation organization dedicated to protecting land in communities throughout the greater Philadelphia region. We envision and work to build an interrelated system of permanently protected open space comprised of the region’s most important natural areas, cultural landscapes, and sustainable agricultural lands.

Within this open space network, Natural Lands Trust:

- Creates, owns and manages signature preserves

- Protects and monitors lands under conservation easement

- Helps conservation-minded partners and clients conserve land

- Actively manages thousands of preserved acres and teaches others best practices in land stewardship.

With the support of our many members and friends, Natural Lands Trust has become a recognized leader in open space protection, planning and stewardship. Since the organization’s founding in 1953, we have helped to preserve more than 105,000 acres – an area roughly the size of Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Through the power of partnerships, we can and will build on that legacy. If you are already one of our conservation partners, we thank you. If you are not, we invite you to join us as a member.
