The Company’s current portfolio includes approximately 1.5 million acres of third party certified working forest in New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, and Wisconsin.  Lyme is a leader in land conservation, sustainable forest management, and ecosystem services, having conserved over 800,000 acres of working forest over the past 20 years and developed business lines in forest management services, wetland mitigation banking, and carbon sequestration.  Alongside its conservation and forestry strategies, the Company seeks to improve job quality, safety, and competitiveness in the forest products supply chain through investments in locally-managed sawmills, logging businesses, and log distribution yards.

Lyme seeks to combine its conservation strategies with operational performance to generate attractive income yields from sustainable timber harvesting. The Company raises capital in pooled private equity funds in which it co-invests and serves as the general partner. Lyme also offers timberland investment management for separate individual accounts.
