Destrehan Animal Hospital is a small animal clinic in the town of Destrehan, LA. Dr. Jack Moreau opened it up when he first practiced veterinary medicine back in 1989 and has been working there ever since! The practice consists of care for small animals such as dogs and cats with occasional rabbits and guinea pigs.

Dr. Jack A Moreau, a 1983 graduate of LSSU School of Veterinary medicine, worked for a vet out of school until he opened his own practice Destrehan Animal Hospital. He is a very caring and devoted doctor. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and looking at old cars. He has had many different cars over the years from old mustangs, volts wagon bugs, even an amphicar. Today he has a 2012 convertible mustang he drives in his free time.
