Eric L. Kirchhoff, a 1985 graduate of Delaware Valley University, started ELK Landscape Management, Inc. as primarily a maintenance and design/build company in 1986, but part of his master plan was to start a nursery. In June of 1992, he was able to purchase a 10 acre property in Pineville and by the following spring had annuals and perennials for sale. While it started out quite modestly with only one small heated greenhouse, over the past 30 years we have added several additional heated greenhouses for annuals, tender perennials and propagation and 34 over-wintering houses for growing shrubs and perennials.
