Delta Multiple-Use Trails

The Delta National Forest has 19 multiple-use trails and one hiking only trail.  These trails range from 3/4 to 4 1/2 miles in distance.  They provide the outdoor enthusiast and experience in both wooded and open environments.  The trails traverse along low lands, waterways, and on reservoirs.

The trails are open to vehicles less than 60 inches wide, unless designated otherwise.  Parking is available at all trailheads.  Visitors should follow safety regulations, be aware of hunting seasons, and utilize forest maps for exact locations.  Trail users may want to contact the District Office at (662) 873-6256 for additional information regarding the many trails available.

There is a user fee, but fees are not required for hiking/foot travel.  Fee stations are located at some trailheads throughout the forest for day-use permits; however, annual permits can only be purchased at District Office. No attendant will be on duty.  Therefore, users should make sure that they have correct currency before arriving at the recreation area.
