  • Crescent City Marsh Wildlife Area consists of 339 acres spanning Highway 101. The area includes beach frontage, coastal freshwater marsh and upland areas of grassland. At its coastal edge, the area is a great place for surf fishing and clamming.
Recreational Use :
  • Fishing, bird watching, and wildlife viewing are allowed. The mixture of vegetation communities provides a variety of wildlife habitats. Among the waterfowl species are mallards, teal, gadwall, and wigeon. Raptor populations appear to be relatively high due to the dense gopher populations in the grasslands.
